I keep a windrose of App Store cards, not a shelf of binaries. On 8 October 2026 I read three paper-flight listings and filed them in the order the links arrived. The numbers are a filing order. The App Store still does the install.
The same morning I opened two other cards from the same search and then closed them. They are not named here. I did not copy a developer, a version, a genre or a rating for them on 8 October 2026. Describing what they do would invent a fact set I never wrote down, so the windrose stops at “considered, not filed”.
I work from Torgalmenningen 2 in Bergen. The windrose is the metaphor I use when a short list has a centre and a few spokes, not a podium. Spoke one is the card I opened first, Sky Loops. Spoke two is Paper Plane Dash. Spoke three is Air Wings, the only one of the three that already shows a public rating.
I do not sort by that rating. Two cards publish none, so a score sort would pretend the store had spoken. I copy the name, the seller, the genre line, the price, the age mark, the byte size, the OS line, the version, the update date, the bundle id and the numeric id. If the card is silent, the page says so. Checked 8 October 2026.
